About Your Operator

Dildo Cove Heritage Experience & Motorboat Excursions was founded in 2019 by local heritage enthusiast Andrew Pretty. A graduate of the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Andrew is a globally travelled ocean going seafarer with nearly 20 years in the maritime industry. Being a seventh generation Dildodian and a local history buff, Andrew possesses a vast knowledge of the history of Dildo. He loves meeting new people and sharing stories of the community he loves. When he’s not doing tours, his passions are music and woodworking. He lives in a 123 year old heritage home built by his great grandfather with his wife Caitlin and two dogs.
